Ann graduated in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London. She paints in oil and watercolour and makes linoprints, etchings and monoprints, her subjects mainly her environment and the life model, with emphasis on the fall of light and change of seasons. Her intense gaze emphasises the particular and suggests mood and associations beyond the reality of the image, introducing surreal undertones.
She has shown her work with the London Group, the Herbert Gallery Coventry, Southwark Cathedral and S.E. London galleries and Open Studios. She assisted as mural artist in Bahnhof Rolandseck Bonn.
Prices for original artwork range from £50 to £400. Inkjet prints of some paintings are available from £15 – £50.
Work is sent unframed. My oil paintings do not need framing, unless you prefer to.

The Thames shore, though rapidly being cleaned up, gives clues to its past uses. Not so much shipping now, so the river shows its broad expanse as it curves to the west at Greenwich.
I am moved by the silence of vacated rooms and hints of the people that were in them.
Grand architecture and reminders of its industrial history flank the Thames at Greenwich. So much has disappeared, but the river goes on in changing light and weather.
